The Cateye Strada Double Wireless is a simple, clean little computer that we just love – in fact ever since getting it I’ve found myself finding an excuse to go for extra rides just so I can play with it.
It’s a little more pricy than then regular Cateye Strada Wireless but I’m guessing that if you’re reading this you know the value of the extra cadence function – and if you don’t let me tell you, it can really give your training a boost, (article to follow).
The computer unit is small and discrete but with a large easy to read display, (would be nice if it had a backlight but, hay-ho, you can’t have it all) and the one click operation to cycle through the functions means it couldn’t be simpler to operate.
The fact that its wireless and the speed/cadence functions are combined in one sensor unit mean no messy wires or multiple sensors uglying up your pride and joy.
Its easy to set up and install – took us about 10 minuets; and as you’d expect from the new Cateye computers it’s accurate and responsive with no discernable interference from other electronic devices.
It would be nice to have the option to download your data onto your computer for analysis, but that would be a little too much to ask at this price point. For the money you are getting a really top notch little unit with the Cateye Strada Double Wireless.
